So everyone agrees its micro? Whats really cool about this piece is I see sections that have purple outlining the red, then there's bright green seekers inside. Any ideas on what kind this might be?
Here's a few more pics. its still ticked off. I am gonna try and get some macro shots once it puffs out. Also the seekers are starting to come out. Should I feed it now?
I plan on doing some fragging tomorrow, I will let you guys know about the healing process. Any ideas on what kind of micromussa this is? This is my first one.
I think its interesting that it hasn't inflated fully yet. Was it being blasted by light at your lfs or something? How long has it been in your tank now?
I can't believe no one picked that up before you. I love those days when you go to the lfs and strike gold, its just as good as winning the lottery. ;]
He had it in a 125 gallon with vho's and one of the actinics was burned out and the other lights were about dead from what he said. On one side it looks a little bleachy, but still colorful. Nothing a little pampering under t5's and feedings can't fix. I picked it up at noon. So its been in the tank for about 4 hours. I know that there's soo many names for the micros, I wonder if this one has a name? I will definately be setting aside frags of it for you guys. I'll let ya know. I think this one has crazy potential.
Got my frags in yesterday. Very Nice find. Great seller I got double the amount of polyps promised. I really like them. The feeding tentacles are green and looks cool.
