What is the difference between "micro favia" and typical favia? Is it the size of the polyps? Is there any other difference like aggression or growth rates?

Do you have a link/photo of what's being called a micro favia?

It sounds like a descriptor that a vendor put on the name since Favia sp. are not distinguished in the trade.

Or it could be referring to favites

Sure thing. They have several they are listing as "micro". I'm assuming it's probably just the size of the heads.

Yea compared to the plug, heads are quite small. It otherwise looks like a Favia sp. at a glance.

Best bet would be to ask the vendor to clarify. They'll gladly do so in most cases.
