Microbacter7 on a dosing pump??

Ok people. This is what i am thinking. I had nitrates at 33.2 ppm and phosphate at .46 ppm. Spent a week hand dosing 5ml a day. After a week of this nitrates are at 12.5 and phosphate at .39.. clearly this is doing something. Picked up a dosing pump today, and set it up to find a daily dose that will maintain this new readings. I have cut the dose down to 3ml a day pre the bottles maintenance dose recommendations. I was wondering if anyone has tried MB7 on a dosing pump?

I've always had relatively higher nutrients. Looking back at my testing results, it's still a little too early to say. This week's no3 test was trending down, so that's a good sign. Usually I'm in the upper 20+ ppm, today was 13.1. I also carbon dose - though I've been doing that since pretty much the beginning.

Have you considered other export means such as carbon dosing, a refugium, algae scrubbers, etc?

Yes I have carbon dosed with np as that article talked about with no considerable results. After that didn't show the results I was looking for. I set up a refugium, I can take a soft ball size of cheeto. And turn it in to a over size basketball in a month. But still seeing a rise in nitrates. This is the only thing that show noticeable results. Regrettably, a little bit quicker than I expected. That was a big change for a week's time. I should of gone about it in a smaller dose. Luckily no harm has come to the coral or fish.
