Have had this guy for 5 days and there hasn’t been any color changes. I know they can change when stressed etc but figured he’d be yellow.

Few more days, still could be stressed.

Mine was pale white at the LFS. Turned nice yellow orange at home. How old is your tank? That rock he is in looks new.

There is a variation of Midas Blenny which is a deep blue. It’s possible you could have ended up with that variant.

they have this almost “marble” like pattern to them that is dark when stressed. probably a defense mechanism to blend in with the LR.

my midas blenny was like this for a few days(it hid behind my overflow weir box) before finally coming out and showing it’s true color
