Hi Reefer’s, so I brought home today a small Midas, did a good acclimation process, waited until dark to add him ro the tank and swoooosh, he lasted 5 min cruising the display tank and went overflow surfing down to the first stage of the sump (pic) now I have no way of getting him out, hopefully he will move to the fuge area and I can scoop him out. Ourgh…..

No before the sock the 2 downtubes from the overflow. I took out the socks if he goes over he can move to the fuge area. It is where the hard plumbing is.

Oh dang - gotcha. I have a Trigger sapphire and it has that stupid chamber, too. Not a fan. You cannot get in there. What about sticking an air stone in the bottom of it to annoy him to swim up... maybe it will get into the sock chamber? or tease it with food?

Yes, hi did move on its own to the second chamber (socks) I tried to catch him this morning by hand since I cant fit anything in there without luck, since now I know he's safe I will let him in the sump for a few days until he's more comfortable and then move at night to the DT.
I definitely need to cover my overflow or Im sure he will ride again.

Thanks for the help
