Plumbed the UV loop today all the way to the chamber that it's pump will feed from and the return lines into the tank.

Found some nice PVC pipe hangers from BRS that work well to suspend the pipe under my aluminum support rails.

Also have a check valve and union ball valve plumbed in wherever a pump will be so I have a shutoff for maintenance.

This plumbing is slow but I'm almost there. Just need to plumb the main return pump / manifold in and I'll be set!

Also picked up some stainless steel hardware for the removable stand covers. Drilled and mounted them today as well...

Sump arrives next week I’m told, so then I’ll have the tank on the stand and can start the final plumbing before test filling everything!

Can you please show more details how you mounted these panels? Pretty please.

When I get home from work I'll take photos of my doors... However it's simply the Framing Tech magnetic latch system. Each panel has a magnetic latch in all 4 corners that corresponds to the large flat screw that is embedded in the door.

Wow this build is a piece of art. Enjoy.

Thanks for the kind words! This plumbing is way more time consuming than I anticipated and getting it all to fit together in the limited space is a challenge! Hopefully I can get it all knocked out in the next week or so and we can get some water in this thing.

My rock has been cycled and hanging out in a 150g tub in the garage for awhile now... Coming up on 60 days

Thank you so much for the compliment! Lots of planning went into this and its really coming together now! However even the most precise plans end up evolving as you get things in place and realize the limitations of plumbing in such a confined area or that ease of maintenance requires a more complex plumbing layout. Everytime I order plumbing parts it's the "last time"

We are on at least round 3 of that as we speak!

Got the heater loop plumbed into the system today...

IMG_20190906_160308__01.jpg

Also as requested here are better photos of my stand "doors" they are ABS sheets that are completely removable. No hinges just magnetic attachments in each of the 4 corners.

IMG_20190906_160329__01.jpg

Each panel area has one of these in each corner.

IMG_20190906_160407__01.jpg

The panel has a large flat screw head embedded in it that corresponds to each magnet mount.

IMG_20190906_160434__01.jpg

They click into place very tightly but are fast to remove, and give full access to all areas under the stand.

That's great! Thank you much

I have a stand from FramingTech as well and wasnt sure if I should wrap it - this seems like a viable option.

Absolutely... I was concerned about the strength of the magnet s and thought about going with 6 per panel but 4 holds just fine.
