It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Been swamped with life lately. Had a massive Green Hair Algae infestation in my tank that I battled for about 6 months. I was pulling out 2 cups of algae each week. Nothing that I did would get it under control. Within a week it would grow right back and fill my tank. It was a never ending battle and I thought about shutting down my tank.

I decided to go nuclear on the algae and started dosing Algafix per directions on the bottle. Within 2 weeks I had the GHA under control. My tank hasn’t looked better. I even am starting to see coralline algae growing on my rocks!
