This one didn't fit in the tank.
The blue tape was supposed to represent the inside dimensions of the tank. I mismeasured.

These two were the final models.

The coral imprint is done with a DIY rubber stamp.

I think you have inspired me to give this a shot! I have a tall 65 and love the way you used the vertical space and made all the “uglies” disappear!

looking like the lamark needs a new home. as he's become the biggest fish in the tank, he's become a complete jerk.
I've got one blue green chrome beat up. and he chases any other fish that gets near him.
sucks. one of my first fish. grown from 11/2" to over 5".

AND NOW THIS.....
so I've never had any crazy algae problems. a little here and there never bothered me.
I went 6 months with out doing a water change. after an ICP showed high aluminum (MarinePure Bio Block leaching)
I replaced all the MPBB's with SeaChem Matrix and started doing weekly 30g water changes.
Since that change I've had explosive zoa, paly and monti growth along with a lot of green algae growing on the scape.
It's growing in areas of lesser light and areas of high current. thoughts?

these two pics, I don't know what this stuff is. bacterial?
usually shows up twice a year and I'll run ChemClean to get rid of it.
grows in very low light areas only. blows off in to snow like particles.
