I have both gyres on a battery backup that should last 24 hours. By the time they run out I should have the generator on line.

It doesn’t have an inverter, so would not run lights or other sensitive electronics but it should be able to keep the family and tank alive!

Scary stuff. Cat 5 now. are u gonna ride it out? I pray not. Maybe it will keep turning... thoughts are with you and the rest of the Atlantic coast.

There are no evacuation orders in effect yet. I’m probably going to install the hurricane shutters on the south and east sides of the house as that’s where all the trees are.

Thank you Shaun. It’s currently projected to go straight up the coast, off shore. No evacuations yet for the east coast. Hopefully it stays far enough off shore!

This is what’s called a hurricane water change course it looks like a hurricane went thru the room!

So I had the coral beauty in the sump for about 2 weeks. Put him back in the tank today. He immediately went looking for the tomini tang and the trigger.

The tomini gave a few serious tail whacks and the trigger lunges at him and but at him.

The CB is now hiding under the middle rock cave as he seems be be not the bully in charge.......at least do now. I hope he finds his place and chills out because it’s a beautiful fish.

Also went to order the sea squirts to have them here this week since I’m off for 4 days.....sold out bummer.

As soon as I see them available again I’m not going to wait.
