So the Milwaukee says Brightwell is 36ppt. To make sure this was not do to evaporation I bought another solution.... granted, same brand. Still read 36ppt.
I have been salting (if that's a word) to 35ppt on the Milwaukee and making sure I am calibrated by reading 36ppt on the solution. The aquarium is been running since May last year and I have been using the Milwaukee for about 1 year. I keept hearing consistency is more important than chasing numbers so I just went with it... but I jus wonder if I made the right call.

I would not trust Brightwell they do not seem to understand basic chemistry of salinity.

From their salt mixing instructions.
"134 g per 1 US-gallon (3.785 L) of purified water yields a specific gravity of ~1.025 g/cm3, with a pH of ~8.30 and alkalinity of ~7.5 dKH."

I use Randy's DIY solutions.
