Mirror against tank?

Has anyone tried the method of placing a mirror agianst your tank for ur female wrasse so it can possibly turn into a male? Any success storys out there? I am trying it as of now, it will be interesting to see what happens..

bad idea, what will most likely happen is it will turn into a male while your not home, and beat itself against your tank glass...

I doubt that to be honest, I am home now watching it.. If I leave for a extended time I will take it down if that is the case though... My other wrasse (Mystery) is not beating himself up, but we will see...

if i were a fish and someone tryed to chage my sex with a mirror, once i found out its just a mirror trick i would be so ticked!LOL

i would not try it..it can cause alot of stress to your fish and probally will not help in turning your female into a male
