Just got my DOS hooked up to my APEX after a few months of delay (not dosing anything currently). As of right now, Fusion is only showing 1 dos module (I think that’s what they’re called) but everything I’m reading says there should be two. This was purchased used so could it be a pump head is bad? Or is it likely deeper than that, like I’d need a whole new DOS unit all together?

If you hooked up a DC power supply for your DOS that's the outlet control (only) you're seeing. If you click on the lock icon in the upper right there is probably an interface for the DOS unit in the list (scroll through everything). It will look similar to this. Drag that to your fusion interface and then you should be able to configure the individual DOS heads (there will be two).

No worries at all. If you ever want to get rid of the power adapter and AquaBUS cable, you can use a 1LINK cable instead (this combines both).
I’m actually using a 1Link cause it was cheaper than buying a power adaptor and Aquabus (the unit came as just the unit, no cables).

So follow up question…in case of dosing head failure, should dosing containers be above, below, or even with the Dos? I have all options available currently

My DOS is mounted about 18" from the bottom of my cabinet with the DDR resting on the cabinet floor (so below in my setup). Whatever is easiest for access/refilling.

Does anybody know if there is a DOS "no power" indication in apex ?

I made some modifications yesterday in the cabling and forgot to power the DOS back in.

Not only that, but software states that doses executed normally
