Hello all, I'm new to the hobby.
I bought a diamond watchman goby and an emerald crab 5 days ago.

The Emerald Crab is nowhere to be seen in the tank. Could the goby have buried it in the lower rockwork when it was re-decorating my tank while shoving all the sand around to make a cave?
I've been checking the tank in daytime and night trying to find it. Should I be concerned? It's been four days. Am I just panicking as a new parent?

90g with 35g sump, full lid.
Also in tank 2 clowns, armless porcelain crab, orchid dottyback and a nassuris snail. All are doing well.

I would not panic about not seeing the newly added Emerald Crab. Depending on the rock work in your tank emerald crabs an incredibly good at blending in. Very possible that being put in your tank might have triggered a molt as well and I have found both emerald crabs and cleaner shrimp to kind of disappear for a bit after a molt till their shells harden up. Also if you do see an emerald crabs molt laying around it really does look at first glance to be a dead emerald crab. But on closer inspection you will see that it is just the molt.

Agreed, I wouldn’t stress to much. Emerald crabs can disappear for quite awhile. I watch my tank like a hawk and may only seen him once a week if that. Usually probably closer to every two weeks or so. The joy of adding inverts and fish that love to hide. I remember when I couldn’t find my firefish for days on end. I was so panicked, granted it didn’t help my daughter was constantly asking me where blueberry was. Lol

My Dottyback has discovered a tunnel path through the insides of a couple of rocks. Speeds around in and out of the tunnel like a kid on a rollercoaster. In one hole, and like a flash, comes out of the side of other rock six inches away
