When I took these I did not have a ful grasp of how to use this camera just yet, 2 DVDs and 2 books later and I am getting a better handle on it. These are older shots, enjoy :)

If I had a chance to redo these, I would of shot them at ISO 100 and got rid of a lot of noise and grain. Some of these were shot at angles too because I could not get corals that were behind other corals.

In these I would of lowered ISO also and increased F/stop

Same noisy settings :(

I wanted to share the beauty of the corals and explain where I went wrong with these.
I hope to get back out there one day and do some more shots. This time with a better understanding of ISO, DOF, barrel distortion, and white balance, I also will shoot the next round in RAW. :)

pics look great!

check out my how stickies, they should help adapting those skills youve learned in the books and dvds, and applying them to your reef pics.

Hey Tater, does that tank look familiar? LOL
Steve, you got a great tank. I would love to shoot it again with Gary, maybe this summer. :)
