Mixing CSB with other BTA?

Yeah, it isn't clearly thriving at the moment. Stuck behind equipment in the corner doesn't seem great to me. All I can see is the foot and it hangs straight down.

I'm on the fence... move all the RBTA's out or keep going to see if this experiment will be successful.

How long do you think this slow decline would take?
Could be weeks or months

Thank you for the update and the topic you started. I am in the same boat on adding a CSB but not sure if I should do it.

Have you tried lowering the flow? increase the light a tad bit? Try a water change even?

those are my thoughts towards the end but really a good topic to talk about any pictures? how is it doing now?

CSB is just fine. It seems to really dislike light and flow, so it keeps moving away from those things and now it's in a dark corner and very happy. Tank has 6 other rainbow bta's and a magnifica.

Dark corner doesn't scream happiness to me.

Any update?

It's going great. I haven't fed it anything directly and it's slowly growing. I've since moved it into an anemone box since it's had a few scares with my powerhead (which is iffy even with nem guards). I may start feeding some mysis.
