So I have about 50lb of Fiji pink sand in my 70g without rocks so I tested out with the Wavemakers and the sands were partially flying around a bit.

I have about 50lb of rocks ready to put in and I understand that rocks will create resistance to some flow. Now, in case the sand still flies around, will adding about 30lb of special grade sand (bigger grain) mix well? Or I should pull out all the Fiji now?

just want to hear from you all. If you have picture of mixing Fiji pink with special grade sand that would be awsome.

thansk!

You could mix it and see how it looks. Is the tank currently running with livestock?

Now, I have my new pumps on and the sand in the back is flying around a bit. Will adding about 40lb of special grade on the top solve the flying sand problem?
