So I’m wanting to upgrade my mixing station. Currently I have been using one 44 gallon brute trash can and want to upgrade to two with in line pump. Here is a crappie drawing that I made for the setup I’m thinking I can put the bulkhead in the bottom center of the can for max drainage. And I might move the (ball valve/hose barb to the red circle so I don’t have any SW in the lines because it will also hold RO water for my ATO. Also there is a link to a pump I want inline think it will work it has to mix both cans and pump water less then 50ft flat and 5ft high. With out further a ado

I think your pump should be fine for what you want to do. I don’t remember what the bottom of the Brute looks like on the outside, so I’m not sure how easy it would be to drill holes there. It still won’t drain completely but you’ll be close. Also — I’m team bulkhead even on curved sides of brutes because it will flex.

I picked up two of the rolling 64 gallon trash carts from home depot. They were HDPE plastic. Drilled bulkheads at bottom. Very similar to the setup shown above with the brute cans. Use an iwaki pump 635 gph I believe. Several unions and valves so that it can all be taken apart. I'll get a pic tomorrow if you would like to see it.
