Is this a question or just amazed that it found something good to eat? Mine does this when I target feed a small chunk of fish or shrimp

The first time I saw one of my mushrooms do this, I totally freaked out. I hadn't heard about feeding them and it must have just grabbed something from the water. I was totally confused until someone on a forum explained to me what was happening.

But it's cool. I like target feeding them. It's so fun watching them eat. Target feeding is a good way to get them to drop babies and split.
