How has the Klir filter been working for you?

It works ok. I only use it when I travel. I find that water tend to leak out the side of the fleece rather than through it. Also, I noticed after time, an air pocket starts to build under the filter so my sump waterline isn’t consistent. Not to mention the replacement fleece is expensive for the amount you get. Overall, I think there’s room for improvement but it fleece does advance when it gets dirty as designed.

Been lagging on updating my build. Just hit the 8-month mark. Added another 15lbs of new rock and going through a mini cycle. Fun! Added a kalkwasser reactor which help maintain my ph and alk supplements. Took 2-part dosing offline. Started Zeovit as well. Here are a few photos of the tank.

I’m starting to plan out a tank upgrade and I am strongly considering a WB 130.4!! Curious on your opinion about lighting, how do the two XR-30’s due in terms of illuminating everything? I’m planning to run an SPS heavy system and am weighing what I need. My thoughts are two exactly like yours, three lines up horizontal to the tank face, or two in a hybrid T5 setup. Awesome tank though!!!
