After a 6 year break from the hobby, it's time to jump back in. So much has changed since my last reefing adventure. A bit overwhelming but spent the last month on this forum reading up the latest and greatest.

Today, my Waterbox 130.4 arrived, only 2 days after placing the order.

Big ups to the Waterbox team and SaltWaterAquarium.com for their help with my purchase.

Tank: Waterbox 130.4
Lights: 2 x Ecotech Radion XR15 Pro
Skimmer: BM Curve 5
Return: Hydor Seltz D 2400 gph
Controller: Apex EL
Flow: 2 x Gyre XF230
ATO: Apex ATK
Aquascape: Stax
Sand: Tropic Eden Reef Flakes
Salt: Aquaforest Reef Salt

Planning to add a 2nd Hydor Seltz for a manifold. Decided to do a separate pump for the manifold so I can perform maintenance on the reactors, chillers, etc. without disrupting the tank flow. This will allow me to have a backup pump if the return pump fails.

Still deciding on reactors, chillers, dosing pumps, etc.

For now, just getting what's needed to start cycling.

Only had time to get the stand assembled today. Ordered some glass suction handles to help with moving the tank. Going to need some muscle to move this heavy tank.

Some equipment arrived, hopefully will have the rest by next weekend.

Looks like a great start and return to the hobby!

Thank you. Feels good to have a tank again, even though it’s not filled yet.

Cool. I just returned after a long break from salt as well. Filled the tank about 6 weeks ago and I feel like a reefer again. Great feeling.

Right on. Congrats on the new build. Do you have a build thread I can follow?

Yes, first link in my signature (if on your phone, turn it landscape to see the signatures).

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Got a chance to play around with the Stax aquascape. Tallest point is about 10" and have 2-3" space between rock and glass for cleaning.

Do you think it's too crowded?

I was thinking making get rid one of the towers and go with 3 rock columns. I'm hoping to get a little more creative once the rock cement is delivered. For now it's like playing rock Jenga. lol

The trick with Stax, as noted above, is to avoid the horizontal lines like in the first design. I like the second one best myself. I am not a big fan of arches, but I think both version 2 and 3 are quite interesting.
