Is anyone using this? I remember hearing about this years ago and people who had early versions pretty much said it didn't really stick to the schedule, took a really long time to clean larger tanks, and was overall a waste of money but has anyone purchased the official release version that came out a few months ago? The aquarium live camera is pretty cool but didn't want to purchase something so expensive if people aren't having good experiences. I've got an 8 footer on the way and could be a nice way to clean/watch the tank at work.

I was an early buyer on the kickstarter and actually received my unit a few months back. I honestly had lost all hope since it was so long.

The good: polished box and professional product.. but thats where it stops
The bad: mine no longer cleaned after a few weeks. It just stopped running on a schedule. I reset it, and everything, but it just never would run a cycle. While it worked, it did clean but it wasn't perfect. I had to realign it to the base to charge multiple times. It wont clean down to the edges due to its size and how it detects the tank edge. The scrubber is only good for light algae, anything else and you are going in with a scraper anyways. The app is horrible, laggy, and didnt perform.

So overall, I don't recommend it.

Also it seems like a lot of people who did the kick starter still haven't gotten units, but yet they are selling them directly now. Dirty business tactics. I likely got my unit because I kept nagging them for updates on the project.

Sounds worse than I heard...
