Our cat plays fetch. But you have to throw it exactly the right way, otherwise she looks up at you and meows until you go get it, bring it back, and throw it correctly. It has to have a low arc, bounce sharply, and move fast, like skipping a rock. If you don't throw it exactly like that, you're basically playing fetch with yourself. But when you DO throw it right and she scurries off and snatches it, she brings it back in her mouth with a cocky swagger I've only seen on lions when they have an entire antelope hanging from their mouth, LOL. She lets you know she's done for now by dropping it in her food bowl, just like a wild cat brings their prey back to their lair to eat later.

A gas station down the street here has pickles soaking in a big jar of red coolaid. He claims that it's a traditional "southern thing". Now this guy is not from the south, in fact he's not from america (i asked) So, what i want to know is... "who the heck told him that?" and also, who the heck is buying these nasty pickles? Being a born and bred texan who spent half her life in Lousiana I have NEVER seen that before. Yuk.
