Mojano or baby euphyllia?

What do you think these are?

  • No idea. Remove them.....nothing is worth the risk of mojano infestation

  • No idea. Leave them and if they move on their own, then nuke them.

  • Mojano's! Fire de missiles!

  • Baby torches! Praised be the fruit!

  • Something else all together....

I like the Cubans but domestic cigars will do dad.so does anyone know what tank bred euphyllia sell for?lol.don't think I've ever seen them on the market.has anyone ever raised one it a reef from this stage to a colony?

I was wondering this exact thing yesterday! Not really interested in making money off animals but I definitely intend to care for these little ones and grow them out! I was imagining what cool genetics they may have too!

Spent about a couple hours today with tongs very carefully liberating the tiny piece of crushed coral that each of 4 little babies were on in the sand bed. Glued them down to a bigger rock so they don’t get lost. A 5th gravel-baby eluded me. Another day. There are at least three on my main rockwork that I’m going to have to leave well enough alone and wait for them to grow out. Pretty exciting. Here’s a photo of the 4 gravel babies I captured and glued

Definitely Euphyllia sp. If it were a majano the tentacles would not be quite as bulbous yet and the "anemone" would be more symmetrical.

Nice baby hammers!

That aiptasia tho....;Punch

Thanks! I'm excited about it!

I honestly don't sweat pests like that any more. Bubble algae, or aiptasia, there is some animal somewhere that munches on them. Just a matter of balancing the eco system, just like everything else we do!

They definitely look like little hammers.. Do you have a bigger hammer that could have dropped some heads?

If you check out the original post, you'll see I posted the images of the parents.
