Yes, I bought her most likely in 1995 from a long gone LFS on River Rd in Cincinnati. The sticker on the the tank read “TR Percula”. So I always believed she was tank raised (but never really tried to understand if she was an ocellaris or percula lol).
Her biggest claim to fame was that she laid eggs (almost weekly) up until just before my house and her tank move a couple of weeks ago. She would lay eggs as long as she was fed some LRS frozen at least a couple times per week mixed in with the other food.
I think the the stress of the tank move was too much. But she could have also been injured as I was moving rocks. I could tell she was on her way out as she didn’t eat the last three days. She always fed her elegance coral the first bite of food before she ate any.
I decided not to treat her apparent bacterial infection as she’s fought a couple infections off in the past with ease.
So now, my clownfish trio is down to a pair. I’m anticipating that the much younger male will turn female and the juvenile (that I’ve had for 7 years and still small) will turn male and now be the one that bites my fingers when I get anywhere near the elegance coral.
