Morning all. I'm going to stop at the Monterey Aquarium on my PCH drive in August. Has anyone done the private tour? I've sent them an email and I'm waiting to hear back what exactly it entails.

Not sure about MBA but I would assume they would take you behind the scenes to see the propagation areas and behind the tanks and stuff. At least that's what we do at the one I work at

I was there recently and a few years ago I did the tour, it was awesome. Wait until you see the size of the UV sterilizers, they are HUGE.:D

Yeah when I first started working, I got taken on a tour and we have a 7 foot tall protein skimmer for our 3-million gallon reef. Our return pipes are also big enough to crawl through. It's truly insane how big everything is

Pretty awesome stuff! I have done the Orlando Sea World tour too, crazy how big everything is there too.
