So I noticed my monti cap is staring to show tiny white spots on the tips of the rough ridgy parts of the coral. Is this normal or bleaching?

the photo doesn’t really show the extent of what I started to see about a week ago and I assume is slowly getting worse. Basically all the bumpy parts are slowing starting turning white at the tips.

If it used to be darker it could be getting too much light. Also do you know what your phosphates are?
I don’t check phosphate very often because it’s a pain but I will tomorrow. I assume because my nitrates are low phos would be low too but I’m honestly not sure.

its not too much light, they can take very high light, mine is just a few inches under MH lights. They do grow upwards, they create shelves and layers. My lights are off now so I cant show you mine, but if you google images of "leaf montipora", you will see what I mean.

I dont see what you see in the picture, it doesnt look like its bleaching to me. I think its fine
