How aggressive is your Monti?

Think my common red needs anger management course, if anything else gets within a inch it digests it, so far I had to move Seriatopora and Stylophora which it started attacking and it's winning a turf war with GSP.

Lesson learnt, thought monti were not too aggressive!

My reverse super man is killing my rainbow monti. Some monti are more aggressive than others.

Well, don't have much experience with my Monti cap. squaring off with other corals, but my encrusting montis are all complete pushovers! Even the quickest contact with any other coral causes them to instantly recede at the point of contact and then some.

I had this big idea to have the whole weir covered in plates like a series of random steps. I really wanted to add other coloured monti to create a contrast, but now I am thinking it's just going to kill anything that comes close to it.

It has so far not had a chance to get close to similar species, reading your experiences make me think it's not going to be possible.
