Monti cap sweeper?

New monti cap added today. Dipped in coral RX and ticked it off then added after aclimation drip.

Now it's in the tank with white edges (I'm told growth?) Also seeing what appears to be sweeper tentacles?

Do monti cap have sweepers or could it be sliming? Also if they are sweepers is it a good or bad sign to have out already? Been in tank for 8 hours.


Hard to get a good picture, lights are off for the night due to new fish aclimation. Will add better pics tomorrow.

Montipora do not have sweeper tentacles. A pic under white light would help.

Common from dip and adding to new environment or is it concerning? Or still too early to tell? Parameters are nearly the same as the LFS it came from.

My pH was slightly lower at 8.0 and theirs tested at 8.2

Yes, dips will do it. Should be better tomorrow.
