Monti id?

I bought this as a montipora and it encrusted just as any montipora I've ever seen. Then a month or two ago it sprouted these branches out and they look like an acropora. I'm just wondering if montipora can do such a thing.

Awesome that confirms my suspicion. I know it's not the best of picture, but would anyone know a name for it.

It will have to grow out more to get a proper ID.
