Hey everyone, snagged a freak nasty monti-cap the other day. Noticed it was fuzzing up at night, all my other corals seem very happy. Kh and calcium levels are good, along with my other parameters. Did a small water change two days ago.
Noticed last night that it had significantly more fuzz than the last time I looked. Any ideas as to what it is? Havnt had much luck finding anything online so...I don't think it's bleaching as it goes away during the day and had no loss of color that I can tell. The polyps look like they're happy and healthy during the day. Even the small piece that broke off had had some polyp growth, but it too is fuzzing up at night! PLEASE HELP

Pics are a bit fuzzy but looks like chryophytes which is a fuzzy algae
Reduce white light intensity and you may have to scrub it off
