This monti started off as a small broken off piece from the mother colony in the 32 gallon biocube. A few weeks after this frag was moved, there was a tank crash with the biocube. Wife was a bit overzealous in using kalkpaste to kill aptasia and nuked the tank. We were both learning in this new to us hobby. Fast forward a year and this monti is doing very well. Make a habit now of sharing frags with other local reefers as backup.
