I have 2 small frags and I put them both at the bottom of the tank and they did fine there. Then one of them started to lose color and then the other did the same. So I moved them higher thinking maybe they need more light but it hasn't changed. Anyone know what's going on?

What's your nutrients at? Too low nutrients and too high light? What's alkalinity?

I am having the same problem. I don't know if I place them at the wrong level. Any suggestion?
Kh=8.51
Ca= 452
Mg= 1340
Salinity= 1025

What type of Montipora do you have ? Plating or encrusting? Type of lighting you are using?
