Is the base multi color on your UWW starbust rainbow monti? or is it just predominately green?

The base is predominantly green but the new base growth is blue. Hope that helps : )

ah ok, that picture released by UWW for this monti was amazing. But I havent seen anyone monti turn out looking like it though

I haven't either Kataro. You have a good point. It was a great pic. I'm blasting mine with light. It could be a matter of finding the perfect lighting conditions to get that color...

Those are the only colors I'm gettin as well but my piece is the size of a 50cent piece and really slow growing I'm also blasting mine!

I do have one but don't even know what is that, has little blue polyps.

Nice pics!! but I dont believe that Tyree had anything to do with the superman. Infact it was found by James (isseym328) back in 2001 at a LFS in sounthern cali.

I have had this colony for a couple of years now. I need to find a picture from the day I got it. It was TINY. lol.
Picture was taken over a month ago, it actually started growing into the corals around it, so I redid that rock, and moved the stuff around.

I also have the usual caps, and a bunch of encrusting montis, but I can't seem to find pictures of them right now.

Wow, you all have such great looking monitipora's. Who'd knew there were so many species out there, and yet to be undiscovered.
