Here is my new favorite. My pic was taken after lights had started to ramp down and the monti was still on the bottom getting use to my lights. The pic really doesn't do it justice.

2nd pic is from WWC. This is one specimen that turned out to be true to color. Sorry, I'm not so good with the pics.

Nice! Whats the corals below the monti.
I have one that looks similar but dont know the name.

It's a Brain Worm Platygyra (Platygyra sp.) Started out very small and has done well in my tank (as he knocks on wood)!

What par levels are you keeping these at? I have the same along with a Beach Bum, Tropic Thunder, Juggernaut, and Crazy T.

Last I checked (which was quite awhile ago) the alter ego was sitting in 370 ish PAR. I honestly don’t remember what the Kung Pow is sitting in, it’s in a sheltered spot so less than the alter ego. Sorry I can‘t be more specific

Wow, it’s really refreshing to see some are still growing actual colonies these days! Bueatiful!
Just setting up a 90 gallon tank and debating getting a monti because they get so huge - your info and pics are really helpful and that's gorgeous! Thanks!
