This is one of my favorite montis in my current system.

What type of monti is the last one in your upload?

I've got it in an order which was totally off. Not a single item matched the color or the shape I ordered so I lost track of its record. When I got it looked like a silver digitata. Later it changed the color but I can't even which color it is at the moment. It has some pinkish ends, and the flash and polips are green/brown/tan color. A few pieces are in my sump with higher par, I supose it will change color. I try to take photos along with other corals so the camera won't trick me.

Tubbs stellata a little over a year of growth. Now I know what's taking up all my alkalinity. That coral is beefy!

I can't wait to redo my classroom reef tank, and finally get rid of all the sand that's just been covered in dinos forever. I want to get encrysters growing all over the bottom.

palawanensis has larger tuberculae while this Monti has smaller papillae/ridges. It's more likely to be one of the "Capricornis-like"/foliose species; Montis tend to deform a lot in captivity with their coenosteal ornaments changing morphology or disappearing completely, so it's usually not possible to ID aquarium specimens to species level unless it's a recently-imported specimen.

oh in that case, it's more likely a confusa/undata. Crazy how much they change sometimes.
