I've had this Monti cap for a long time. Just now it decides to start to stn in the center. All of my corals have been perfectly fine and I haven't added any new corals or fish in almost a year so I doubt it's a pest issue.

Test results?
Any changes in flow, light, salt, new filters in RODI, AC cleaned out and dust and mold particles went airborne.
Any other changes you can think of?

It might be bacterial as sometimes in the center some detritus will accumulate and can start a infection.

Maybe montipora eating nudibranchs?
Dip it and see if anything falls off.
Have you recently added any new corals?

Its more due to the shape that they grow into the center section doesn't get the flow the outer parts do. As they are blocking the inside of the coral. Birdsnest corals have this problem too.

Have you programmed the nutrients mode on the vortechs?

Might want to adjust the speed on your nutrient export mode so it doesn't splash. Or move the pumps down the side of the tank some so it doesn't cause issues.
