I have a monti frag that's about 75% dead and the last 25% actually has good color. It had started some growth before it took a turn for the worst.

What are the chances it recovers send grows back?

Well if the 25% looks good then highly likely that it will survive, have seen corals come back from just a polyp. If you have pests(nudis) then it will be a goner probably.
