Moorish idol

Hey guys I just got a sexy moorish idol for my fish-only tank and I wasn’t feeding first. But than out of no where I just started munching down on NLS, so.... I guess that’s a good thing! BUT my question is although ppl say that NLS r the key to success long term but I think I maybe should substitute some other food items. I’m not sure what yet, just wanna make sure before I start tossing clearance seafood in my tank. Thanks!

I do not have experience with this particular fish, but if had to state one food from your local sea food department for just about any fish.

Clams or shellfish. High nutrition, relatively low cost, dice into pieces well without falling apart like fish.

If it’s taking NLS pellets I’m pretty sure you will have success with other foods... Congrats on a beautiful fish. I’ve wanted one since I was a kid.
