Bumping your post!

I’ve not found good science articles that report measurements. One of the complications is light scattering and absorbance by particulates, which vary a lot from place to place.

I wanted to find, for example, how different light is at 1 and 5 and 10 ft is from the surface, but could not find it. It probably exists somewhere, but I didn’t find it.

Looking for the same thing but I have not come across anything. I feel like it should be straight forward to collect this data from multiple reefs around the world. I am surprised there has not been any NOAA funding for this.
