I want to do some rock work in my tank and plan on using Mortar to attach rocks and sand to some frag racks in the tank. Does any know if it is safe to use store bought Mortar? I see two types- 1) QUIKRETE Mortar mix and 2) Simple set ceramic tile Mortar( premixed). Can I use these or do I have to buy specific Mortar for aquarium use?

Safest bet and shortest cure time is Emaco. Much better than the other options IMO. Marco Rocks sells small quantities...
