Hello. I have an older Kessil A360 light that I want to use over a 20gl QT / holding tank. I dont have a mounting arm for it and learned sitting it on top of eggcrate was a bad idea...so..suspending it from the ceiling or a wall mount are both non starters. I either want to use a generic arm attached to the tank, or somehow have it sit above the tank on something other than eggcrate, which wont melt. I was wondering what ideas all of you have come up with without spending alot of money. This isnt a display tank, so it doesn't need to be pretty, just functional and safe. I have eggcrate on top of the tank at all times, so just need to figure out what to do with the light.

any suggestions are appreciated..

This is what I use for my older a360we (back when they were larger and bulkier) it works great. I tried various options over the years but I wish I just spent the little bit of money for quality first. It's great, works awesome and it really sturdy.
