I have a 15 gallon cube that I would like to use a Kessil A160WE on. I like the look of the A series mounting arm more than the gooseneck and that the arm design hides the cords. Unfortunately, it is designed for tanks at least 18” in depth.

I see that they sell a longer extension bar, but does anyone know of a resource for a shorter version so the light would be properly centered over the tank?

Not ideal, especially if you’re ocd like me, but you can turn the Kessil arm left/right to center the light if it’s too lengthy. Of course, this would mean the arm isn’t 90° to the back of the tank.

Could a wall mounted plant hanging bracket be an option?

Just found an older R2R post that shows that the A series arm bracket can be mounted directly to the wall behind the tank. This could be an option to take up the extra inch or two that I need to center it over the tank. Has anyone tried this with success?
