Mounting Edge bar 12 possible missing Bolts?

Does anyone know the number of screws the edge bar 12 should have? Shouldnt there be 4? TheReefBreeders website looks as if it comes with 4 bolts attached to the rail but I’m only seeing 2. Can’t find much info on it either

According to this photo it looks like the ceiling mount uses the two screws on top and then two adapters that look like they fit over the power input and output ports. There is only one T-Slot on top so two screws seems very reasonable.

I just mounted my edge bars today

What are you attaching to? Do you have meridians?

I have edge 45’s and they have 4 sliding posts on the top

My guess is the Stock photo is preproduction and they ended up not needing that many in the final design

Trying to hang these from the wires they sell for them.

The Edge Bars are designed primarily to mount directly onto the Meridian using the Edge articulating mounts or our BOT mounts, utilizing the provided bolts on top.

While it's technically possible to suspend them using hanging wires, we generally don't recommend it, as these bolts run along a single axis. Unlike our Meridian or Photon lights which secure on two axes and easily allow tilt adjustments. The Edge Bars' single row of bolts means tilt adjustments using hanging wires would rely primarily on positioning the power cord.

Our 12" and 24" Edge Bars come standard with two bolts on top, as that's sufficient for secure mounting to BOT mounts or a custom T-track system. However, if you prefer using hanging wires, we do offer additional bolts in packs of two or four to accommodate this.

This isn't a happy answer for me. I have a 48" ATI T5 on its way in the mail, and a 48" Edge bar too. I was hoping there would be a way to attach the two together....sort of like the @Reef Breeders LumenBar, and the @Orphek bars I have now. Hope I don't need to sell the LumenBar

I have a 24” lumenbar on hand and also 48” edge bars. Comparing the two, the edge bar is much more versatile for mounting.

Lumenbar has this L shaped bracket that’s screwed into the top. That’s it. It’s fixed in place, and the angle can be adjusted with a nut and bolt, and if it loosens it drops out of place. There is no t track or anything universal or customizable.

Edge bars have full length t track on 3 sides, and the 48” has 4 included t bolts on the top, that slide full length. And they make articulating t slot brackets that can slide in the sides, attach to other t track, and have the angle adjusted with a shark bite system that won’t change angles even if the bolt loosened. This should be easy to devise a working solution with everyday hardware
