One of two ways. Move the rock it's attached to or cut it off at the base with a razor blade. Any of it left behind will grow another one in its place.

wont it be like a open wound where I cut it ? Would I glue it ? Confused
Thanks

First time leather Fragger, no problems. Lol just joking, seriously joking.

Cutting leathers is like cutting butter or cake. They are soft, but solid through it. It will upset it, but it will be okay.

There are numerous ways to get it to attach again. Rubber bands, toothpicks, super glue sometimes works. Best way is to use some loose rocks around it's base to hold it in place were you want it. It will attach in time.

After cutting it, run some GAC for awhile. They release some chems that may upset other corals. Doing a water change is a good thing too. It's not toxic, so don't worry.

The remaining tissue where you cut it will grow another, so be aware of that.

Hope this helps.
