Hi :)
I appreciate any advice , if I’ve learned anything in this hobby .. it is take my time , research , then act 😂. I I have a 20 gallon nano with a larger rock work on the left and a smaller 2 rock scape on the right. The hammer is on a rock that leans onto a rock with a fender bender cyplastrea . I need to move those rocks apart , for one I was the the fender bender to grow up the back wall , not onto the hammers rock . So I’m going to move the back rock and lay the hammer rock down separate . Will lower the hammer like 3 inches but in the same spot , although the new set up will change flow.tank is a few months old , hammer is extremely happy. Do I move it and be done with it. Or wait longer since I have the time before it matters?
Thanks I hope I made sense 😅

I'd just move it now if you feel it needs to be moved. If it ends up in drastically different light and flow it might not be happy, but I've moved things around a LOT without much negatives.

Thanks. Yeah it’s a necessary move . But, it isn’t moving far from where it was. Same spot just dropping closer to the sanded by about 3 inches. So , 🤞 after this move. My rocks should be in their permanent spot. I guess if he’s been there happy for weeks , the water parameters are good. That’s the big one. I can adjust the wave maker if necessary. I’m just wondering if leaving it be for longer will make it stronger for the move. Or more irritated cuz it settled in that spot longer ? I might just attempt it and get it over with today lol this might sound silly. But, 4 years and thousands of dollars later lol I move slow and careful with my reef 😂
