Hello all,

I did a tank transfer a few months ago and while transporting my rock anemone, it essentially found a spot that it is very happy with- but doesn't really make it easy for me to enjoy it. The rock it has attached itself to isn't readily moveable, are there any tips on moving it? or should i just resign myself to getting glimpses of it? (it does seem happy where it is at).

It’s going to move where ever it wants, If you move it might go back to where it was.

If you can remove it there is an easy solution to making it very visible and stay in place. Put it in a PVC end cap and set the end cap down in the sand so it doesn't show. Mine haven't moved in 3 years except when I've moved them. Which is another nice advantage to keeping them in the end caps. I moved mine from a 120g tank I was selling and into my new 40g cube and they were right at home almost instantly. And they have spawned for the 3rd time in my tank!

There is more RFA info about end caps and breeding and more in a thread listed in my signature below.
