Just curious if i should be worried about my Ricordea. Found it on the sand this morning, was previously on the rock ledge pictured behind it. Not sure if it fell and i should put it back or if its moving on its own. Is it safe on the sand? Ive had it for about 3 weeks, and i thought it was looking pretty comfortable where it was.

They occasionally do this. It may be due to stress from either too much light or water flow or both. My suspect is water flow issue.
They only require moderate light and water flow. To reattach, hold mushroom down to rock with a VERY Loosely fit rubber band until it reattaches

I have the same ricordea only it's a bit smaller. I got mine a few weeks ago and I can't find a spot in my tank it seems to like. I have it tucked into the corner of my evo away from direct light and flow. It still seems unhappy. I'd be worried but all of my other corals are doing great.
