I have a question about pricing livestock - mostly, what's considered a "fair" price to put vs what I'll actually get.
I have fish that are 1-2 years old, but I have no idea if that matters. No new fish or coral in the tanks in months. I know we've added snails and crabs to one tank, last one was over a month ago.
We have a regular clown and a mocha storm paired ($160 new for both). A bicolor and lawnmower blenny ($30~ each). Dwarf flame angel ($80). Randall's goby ($30). Pajama cardinals ($25/each). Spotted mandarin ($40). Clown goby. Blue green chromis. Skunk shrimp. Pistol shrimp. Tuxedo urchin. Spiky urchin. A red with white spots sea star (I cannot figure out what it actually is called). Red starfish. A brown sea cucumber and potentially a tiger tail cucumber.
There's also numerous corals that in not sure how to price. For instance, I have some $5 mushrooms that are the size of the $30 mushrooms from the LPS, but can I get that price? I have a green duncan that has 20+ heads and zero idea how much to ask. A green and red candycane with 8+ "heads". Plus zoa colonies and montapora on liverock, fancy and regular euphillia..... any guidance?
There's also the regular snails and crabs, but I'm sure those don't sell for anything. I tried to get local prices and drop from there, but I'm not sure if I'm getting lowballed drastically or getting realistic offers. I'm moving states in 4ish months, so trying to get this going now so I'm not in a rush.
