Moving Tanks during home construction

So i have two tanks, one salt(55G) and one fresh(20G)

We are going to have to leave the house for 2-3 weeks during some construction, which involves them removing all furniture from the first floor.

I need to move my 55G reef tank and am curious about my options.

1) I've read people transfer everything temporarily to big rubbermaid type bins during deep cleans/etc. Could i just use one of these larger ones, filled with my old water, my skimmer, pumps, heater and throw my lights over top and be fine for a few weeks?

or

2) Should i empty everything into a big bin, and then move and re-setup my entire tank in the garage?

3) Something else i havent thought of?

I think you'll be fine with option 1; just don't move the sand if you had that. I've done exactly that 3 times already.

Who's going to look after feedings and salinity swings over 2-3 weeks?

I have an auto feeder, but we will be in a residential inn not too far away i can come back every other day.

I have a reefpi setup and can alert if temp or PH go out of whack, not sure why salinity would swing as long as i can keep topping it off with water every week?

Option 1 will work fine just keep an eye on it!!
