So I'm moving next week and have a few questions because I have never moved a tank before. The tank is relatively new. Only just finished its cycle (relatively) recently. It's a pico (thank baby Jesus) at about 5.5 gallons.
Should I just dump the water into a bucket, put the rock in there with it, and transfer the inverts (might have one fish but haven't seen him since purchase.) in a tupperware or something? Same with corals?
There's no need to acclimate if I use most of the tanks water, correct? Just have to wait for it to warm back up?
I'm not moving far, same city. About a 15 minute drive or so. I plan on having its new and permanent home set up before I move the tank. It'll be the last thing moved and the first thing set up.
Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
